Serena D'Agostino presents at 2015 edition of Romani Studies Conference in Chisinau

The 2015 edition of the multidisciplinary conference on Romani Studies organised by the Gypsy Lore Society has been held in Chisinau, Moldova, on September 10-12. It was hosted by the Institute of Cultural Heritage of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova in cooperation with the Public Association "Porojan".
Like most of the previous editions, this year's event has seen the participation of scholars belonging to different disciplines, from Anthropology to Linguistics to Political Science to Sociology, and several Universities inside and outside Europe.

Serena D'Agostino presented a work-in-progress paper on "Romani Women Activism in Romania: the 'Transformative' Role of the EU?", which is part of her PhD research project on the "Europeanization of Romani Women Policies & Politics in Central and Eastern European Member States".
