PhD Researcher Klaudia Majcher at Summer School on Advanced EU Competition Law & Economics

From 14 - 20 June 2015 PhD researcher Klaudia Majcher participated in the summer school on ‘Advanced Competition Law & Economics’ that took place in the Italian Dolomites, organised by the Osservatorio Antitrust based at the Faculty of Law of Trento University. The sessions taught by representatives of academia, National Competition Authorities, as well as practitioners (lawyers, in-house counsels, economists), offered valuable insights into substantive developments and procedural aspects of EU Competition Law. The programme also contained practical workshops and simulations regarding complaints, damages, leniency applications, institutional cooperation and hearings before the European Court of Justice. The varying profiles of the speakers and participants, and the programme's interactive character that facilitated in-depth discussions, substantially contributed to deepening knowledge of the most relevant areas in the field of Competition Law in Europe.
