Migration and Diversity cluster well represented at Policy Workshop on the Future of Migration in Europe

On 16 October, the Migration and Diversity cluster was well represented at Policy Workshop on the Future of Migration in Europe, organised by the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission. Ilke Adam participated in the plenary debate with a speech on ‘Three Myths on Immigrant Integration’. Ilke Adam and Laura Westerveen facilitated one of the six afternoon workshops, on the future of immigrant integration policy in Europe. Florian Trauner, Philipp Stutz, Leonie Jegen and Hanna Schneider actively participated in the workshops on 'The link between demography and migration', 'The migration-development-security nexus: making third country partnerships work' and 'Migration and public perceptions: migration narratives and the role of media in shaping policies'. The policy workshop was attended by over 100 policy experts on migration, from the European institutions, national authorities, civil society and academia.
