International Security Cluster Publications

The research actitivies of the International Security Cluster

Luis Simón - Geopolitical Change, Grand Strategy and European Security: The EU-NATO Conundrum in Perspective

The International Security Cluster publishes on a wide range of issues related to international security. They follow the guiding principle of the Vrije Universiteit that "thinking must never submit itself" (Henri Poincare, 1909) and uphold the spirit of free inquiry, free from dogma's and prejudices. The cluster researchers actively take part in the academic debate, publishing on the cutting-edge of security studies through books, peer-reviewed articles, and conference papers. They also contribute to high-level policy debates on internatonal security by providing high-quality analysis, information and guidance on ongoing developments through policy briefings, commisionned reports, op-eds, public testimonies, and various other media.

For more information about the International Security Cluster publications, please contact the respective authors involved or Jurgen Smet, IES Marketing and Communications Officer (jurgen.smet@ies.be).
