Closing conference of the project “Euroentrepreneurship – University Qualifications for the Europeanisation of the Romanian Society”

On the 20 October, IES Executive Director Anthony Antoine, travelled together with IES Researchers Alexandra Mihai and Silviu Piros to Bucharest, for the closing conference of the project “Euroentrepreneurship – University Qualifications for the Europeanisation of the Romanian Society”. This joint project between the IES and the National University of Political Sciences and Administration (NUPSA) was the basis for 18 months of intense international collaboration; 6 successful trainings for the partner’s academic staff and students from 3 MA programmes (that enabled over 100 individuals to come to Brussels and benefit from first-hand seminars on the EU’s functioning and decision-making process, to experience new and innovative teaching and learning methods, as well as to visit the EU institutions); a joint research effort aimed at determining the needs and limits of the EU affairs labour market (in Bucharest and Brussels); and, ultimately, to establish a new university qualification for NUPSA’s graduates: expert in EU affairs. On this occasion, the partners reaffirmed their commitment to innovation in the field of EU studies, as well as the creation of new synergies and new opportunities for European students.
