Alexander Mattelaer at EEAS High Level Seminar on Hybrid Threats

On 24 September 2015 Acting Academic Director Alexander Mattelaer chaired a panel at the "Countering Hybrid Threats" seminar organised by the European External Action Service and the Luxembourg Presidency.

Various speakers from the European External Action Service and NATO exchanged views on building increased resilience for dealing with hybrid threats emanating from the eastern and southern neighbourhood.

This high-level seminar constituted part of the staff process geared towards developing an EU framework for countering hybrid threats as commissioned by the European Council in June 2015.
