Ionut Sasu obtained his B.A. in Political Science at the University of Bucharest (Romania) in 2002 and his M.A. in European Political Sociology at Dalarna University (Sweden) in 2004. In April 2005, he started his PhD research at the VUB on the efficiency and legitimacy of the institutional reform of the European Union under the Constitutional Treaty. His research interests cover aspects of European integration, European Union institutional reform and public policy. He is based at the VUB-affiliated Institute for European Studies.
