Researchers that are part of the cluster “European foreign and security policy” analyze the role of the EU as a global actor in the areas of foreign, security and defense policy. This includes the ongoing development of the EU’s institutional architecture, its evolving conflict prevention and crisis management capabilities – but also the EU’s strategic engagement with its international partners within and beyond the transatlantic space.

The Cluster
