"The Europeanization of National Foreign Policy" This report investigates the European Commission Communication on Integrated Product Policy (IPP) of June 2003. It considers the policy approach proposed by the Commission and its political and legal implications, in particular in relation to the existing body of European law and policies concerning products and to the role of public authorities at the European and national level in the policy process aimed at promoting more suistainable patterns of production. The report also considers whether the Communication and the follow up actions are fit for purpose to deliver their stated objectives. |
