EU Economic Law Case Study on European Competition Law

Prof. Tony Joris (PhD Law VUB; LL.M. PILC VUB) is a full-time Professor of European law and holds the Jean Monnet Chair of European law at the VUB, where he is also Director of the Centre for European Law, Co-Director of PILC and Erasmus Coordinator of the Faculty of Law and Criminology.

He has been a Visiting Professor at several universities (Amsterdam (the Netherlands), Georgia (USA), Helwan (Egypt), Ostrava (Czech Republic), Pittsburgh (USA) and Yeditepe (Turkey). He serves as the promoter of several research projects. His publications include the major book on State aid and European Union law in the Dutch language. He also serves as the editor of the Dutch language book with Basic European Texts.

In addition to numerous publications in Dutch language law reviews, he also authoured book chapters and articles in journals such as the Columbia Journal of European Law, International and Comparative Law Quarterly.
