Internships
We welcome students who have recently completed their BA studies, or are currently completing their MA studies to apply for an internship at our institute. Such a position would be ideal for students who are carrying out research for their MA thesis in a field close to the interests of IES research staff, or who are looking to investigate possibilities to further their research careers.

Interns who come to the IES for a period of six months or more will have expenses reimbursed to the maximum sum of 475€ per month. They will additionally be provided with temporary use of the Institute's IT infrastructure (including laptop computer and access to the VUB digital library). In addition to carrying out research, interns will be required to support academic staff in various tasks.
Initial contact should be taken with Dr Jamal Shahin, Internship Coordinator. Candidates are invited to email him at the following address: with a current CV, highlighting recent study experience, and a cover letter with a brief description of the intended research plans for the period of stay at the institute. Please also include a proposed commencement date for the internship.
