Prof. Jozef Vuchelen

Prof. Jozef (Jef) VUCHELEN has a MA in economics from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (1969), and a MA in Econometrics from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (1971). He finished his Ph.D. on the topic of ‘An econometric Monetary Model for Belgium’ in December 1971. He also obtained a degree in Economics from the University of Chicago. His professional career began at DULBEA where he worked as a researcher. In the early seventies, Jozef worked as a researcher at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in the Centre for Econometrics and Management Science (C.E.M.S.). As from 1975, he teaches at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
