Policy Forum on the Roma situation in Europe

The Migration and Diversity Cluster of the Institute for European Studies (VUB) is pleased to announce a lunchtime Policy Forum on the Roma situation in Europe.  The event includes the following speakers:
 

  • Sophie Kammerer - Policy Officer, responsible for the areas of social inclusion, employment, education and the Roma at the European Network Against Racism (ENAR), Brussels Download powerpoint presentation
  • Leticia Osorio - Director of the Human Rights Clinic, University of Essex, UK.  Advisor Expert to the UN Habitat/Advisory Group on Forced Evictions and currently doing research within European Human Rights Law and UK Law; Gypsies' and Travelers' rights.
  • Julie Brio - member of the Romeurope National Platform's committee board, Free Catholic Committee Against Hunger and for Development (CCFD), Paris

A light lunch will be provided at noon, followed by the talks at 12:30
